Evaluation Process

The student, preceptor, and clinical faculty are required to participate in the clinical evaluation.

1. Students will complete a minimum of 80 hours.
2. Before the practice education experience begins clinical faculty will contact the preceptor via email. Clinical course objectives and a link to the preceptor handbook will be provided.
3. Students will provide the preceptor a copy of required feedback forms.
4. During the Practice Experience, Faculty will conduct a check-in at the request of the preceptor and/or student or at the discretion of the Faculty, if there are identified concerns. Should concerns arise, students may be placed on a student support plan and additional meetings with the preceptor will be scheduled.
5.  The preceptor is encouraged to contact the clinical Faculty at any time during the experience if they have any concerns.
