Integumentary System

The integumentary system, which includes the skin, hair, and nails, is a key component of the health professional’s assessment of patient health status. These body structures serve specific purposes, but they also reflect the functions and dysfunctions of other body systems. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  2. Complete a comprehensive assessment of the integumentary system.
